Introduction

Inspired by two of China’s most enduring symbols of good fortune, the Harmony of Dragon and Phoenix celebrates the balance of strength and grace, power and tenderness. Rooted in the traditional philosophy of Yin and Yang, the design brings this timeless vision of harmony to life through intricate sculpture and refined mechanical watchmaking.
An 18K gold dragon emerges from a sculpted blue ocean, while a finely engraved phoenix rises against the warmth of a setting sun. Crafted with layered mother-of-pearl and precious metals, the dial creates a striking three-dimensional scene rich in detail and symbolism. At 8 o’clock, a rotating Akoya pearl glows with tritium illumination, echoing the motion of the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Blending Chinese artistic heritage with Western horological ingenuity, this extraordinary timepiece is a tribute to harmony, prosperity, and the enduring beauty of Chinese culture.

In Chinese tradition, the dragon embodies strength and vitality, while the phoenix represents grace and benevolence. Together, they symbolize auspicious union and the balance of Yin and Yang—a cultural ideal brought vividly to life on the dial.

Inspired by late Ming and early Qing palace sculpture, the 18K gold dragon features meticulously rendered scales, claws, and facial details, with Burmese ruby eyes. A finely engraved phoenix rises above the dial, enhanced by layered mother-of-pearl and precious metals to create remarkable depth and dimension.

At 8 o’clock, a hollowed Akoya pearl recreates the legendary Dragon’s Pearl. Surrounded by tritium-filled tubes, it emits a lasting glow without external charging. Completing one rotation every 60 seconds, the pearl symbolizes eternity and good fortune.

At 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, adding a captivating mechanical dimension to the dial. Its motion complements the rotating pearl, while a specially redesigned automatic movement creates more open space to showcase the intricate craftsmanship.
