Introduction

Innovation has always been at the heart of MEMORIGIN's watchmaking philosophy. The Grand Series represents a significant milestone in the brand's horological development, bringing together an in-house developed tourbillon movement, an oversized date display, and an unconventional GMT complication in a distinctive multi-layer dial architecture.

Three years of dedicated research, design, and repeated testing culminated in the launch of MEMORIGIN's first tourbillon watch featuring a dual-window big-date display in August 2016. More than a technical achievement, it marked a new chapter in the brand's pursuit of mechanical innovation.

The dial is designed around depth and visual contrast. A combination of solid and skeletonized sections creates multiple layers, revealing selected elements of the underlying mechanism while preserving a refined, balanced appearance. At its center of attention, two generously sized windows display the date, giving this practical complication a striking visual presence.

At 9 o'clock, an unconventional GMT indicator introduces a distinctive interpretation of dual-time display. Two specially designed hands, shaped like a sun and a moon, distinguish between daytime and nighttime in the second time zone. The silver sun represents morning, while the black moon indicates afternoon. Moving along a semicircular 12-hour scale, these celestial forms add both functional clarity and poetic character to the dial.

Powering the Grand Series is a MEMORIGIN-developed automatic tourbillon movement, offering the flexibility of both automatic and manual winding. With a 40-hour power reserve, it combines mechanical convenience with the traditional pleasure of winding a fine timepiece by hand.

Beyond its technical features, the Grand Series invites a more personal reflection on time. Days pass, moments become memories, and life continues to move forward. While a watch can measure every passing hour, it also reminds us of something more meaningful: to cherish the people we love and the moments we share.

The Grand Series is therefore more than an expression of mechanical ingenuity. It is a tribute to the art of timekeeping and to the moments that make time worth remembering.

A defining feature of the Grand Series, the oversized date complication uses two separate windows to present the date with exceptional clarity. Integrated into a multi-layer dial, it combines practical functionality with distinctive visual architecture.

Located at 9 o'clock, the GMT indicator uses two specially shaped hands to distinguish day and night in a second time zone. A silver sun represents morning, while a black moon indicates afternoon, bringing celestial symbolism to an innovative time display.

Combining solid and skeletonized sections, the dial creates a striking interplay of depth, texture, and mechanical detail. Selectively revealed indexes and movement components draw attention to the oversized date display while maintaining a balanced aesthetic.

Developed through three years of research and refinement, the self-winding tourbillon movement supports both automatic and manual winding. With a 40-hour power reserve, it offers the convenience of automatic operation and the traditional engagement of manual winding.
