Inspired by the dynamic energy of track-and-field relay races, the GearMagus MS02 transforms timekeeping into a continuous, evolving handoff across hours. Rather than a fixed retrograde path, its signature baton hand performs an extraordinary 330° sweeping retrograde, with constantly shifting start and return points. The dial redefines readability: a single minute hand works with a rotating hour disc, where the active hour appears within the G-shaped indicator, while the arrow tip marks the minutes. As each hour completes its lap, the hand instantly resets and passes forward. Built on a modified SW200 movement with nearly 100 additional components, the MS02 merges mechanical ingenuity with playful, avant-garde design.
Innovative Relay Time Display
The MS02 reimagines time as a relay race. Each hour acts as a runner, carrying the baton across a 60-minute track. As one hour completes its cycle, the baton is passed to the next, creating a dynamic and intuitive visualization of time in motion.
Complex Modified Mechanical Movement
Based on the proven SW200 caliber, the movement has been extensively modified with nearly 100 additional components. Each part undergoes precision machining, followed by hand-polishing and meticulous assembly, ensuring both mechanical reliability and innovative functionality.
Layered Dial with Spatial Depth
The dial architecture separates hours and minutes into distinct tracks: the outer ring represents the 60-minute racecourse, while the inner ring positions the 12 hour markers as runners. The elevated baton hand bridges these layers, enhancing depth and legibility.

Crafted from 316L stainless steel and protected by sapphire crystal, the MS02 is built for durability and clarity. Paired with a genuine calf leather strap, the watch balances technical sophistication with refined aesthetics, suitable for both collectors and everyday wear.
