Description
Where Time Meets the Art of Lacquer
Long before it became the face of this watch, a single drop of natural lacquer began its journey deep within the forest. Layer after layer, it is patiently brushed by hand, each coat resting for days before being polished to a soft, jade-like glow. Tiny fragments of mother-of-pearl are then individually inlaid into the lacquer, allowing their iridescent blues, greens, and violets to emerge beneath the translucent surface like stars scattered across the night sky. At the center, a flying tourbillon turns in constant motion, bringing together two philosophies of time: the precision of mechanical watchmaking and the quiet patience of Chinese lacquer craftsmanship. The Lacquer Whisper collection celebrates this rare harmony, where centuries-old artistry continues to shine with every movement of the wrist.

What is Mother-of-Pearl Inlay [螺钿]?
Mother-of-pearl inlay is one of China's most treasured traditional decorative arts, with a history spanning more than a thousand years. Skilled artisans carefully cut iridescent shells such as abalone into tiny fragments and individually embed them into layers of natural lacquer. Every piece is positioned entirely by hand, requiring remarkable patience and precision. Through repeated lacquering and polishing, the shell becomes one with the lacquer surface, revealing ever-changing reflections that embody the enduring spirit of Chinese craftsmanship and cultural heritage.

Lacquer, Polish & Reveal
Multiple lacquer coatings and careful polishing merge the shell into a smooth, luminous surface.

What is Maki-e [莳绘]?
Inspired by centuries of East Asian lacquer artistry, Maki-e is a refined decorative technique in which precious gold powder or gold leaf is delicately applied onto wet lacquer to create elegant motifs. Each detail is completed entirely by hand, demanding exceptional precision and patience. On this dial, genuine 24K gold markers and scattered golden accents enrich the mother-of-pearl surface, adding warmth, brilliance, and a timeless expression of traditional craftsmanship.

XingLan [Stellar Blue]
Blue-violet iridescence, echoing the boundless serenity of the night sky.

CuiYing [Jade Shadow]
Soft emerald reflections with the tranquil elegance of polished jade.

DanXia [Crimson Dawn]
Radiant vermilion tones inspired by ancient sunsets and drifting rosy clouds.

Aerospace-Grade Titanium Case
Crafted from aerospace-grade titanium alloy, the case offers exceptional strength while remaining remarkably lightweight. Corrosion-resistant and comfortable on the wrist, it delivers enduring durability with a refined satin finish worthy of fine mechanical watchmaking.

Premium Patnat Goatskin Strap
Made from premium Patnat goatskin leather, the strap combines a supple touch with excellent durability. Its rich texture develops character over time, offering lasting comfort while complementing the refined artistry of the lacquer dial.

Central Flying Tourbillon
Positioned at the center of the dial, the flying tourbillon rotates gracefully as the visual and mechanical centerpiece. Constantly compensating for the effects of gravity, it showcases both precision engineering and the captivating beauty of haute horology.
