In 1958, Beijing Watch Factory was founded, and in the same year, it launched a classic mechanical watch model. In 1973, a influential mechanical watch movement was developed and put into production by Beijing Watch Factory, marking a significant milestone for China's watch industry. In 1996, Master Xu Yaonan, the father of the Chinese tourbillon, represented Beijing Watch Factory in developing the mainland Chinese tourbillon wristwatch, opening a new chapter in domestic tourbillon production.
The classic "1958 Beijing Watch" has been out of production for decades, with a limited number remaining in existence. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the brand's founding, a reproduction of this classic model has been reintroduced.
