Mechanical Theatre of the Moonlit Rabbit

Step into legend with the Lucky Harvey Rabbit Automatic Watch — a fully mechanical Year of the Rabbit timepiece, available in rose gold and sterling silver, with limited editions of 388 and 588 pieces respectively. A hand-carved rabbit is sculpted in three dimensions on a 925 sterling silver base, presented in warm rose gold PVD or its natural sterling silver finish. Set against an ultra-dark matte black dial engineered to absorb almost all surrounding light, the rabbit appears to float at the centre, glowing with an otherworldly presence. At every hour, three elements come alive on the dial: the moon rises, the koi swims across, and a butterfly’s wings flap. Twenty-four performances a day. No batteries, no quartz — just pure mechanical theatre on the wrist.

Three-Element Automaton — Moon, Koi, Butterfly

Most luxury watches do one thing on the hour. The Rabbit performs three. At every hour, the in-house automaton complication triggers and the dial comes to life: the moon rises in its arc, the koi swims from one side of the dial to the other, and the butterfly's wings flap open. The motions then reset over the following hour. Mechanical theatre rarely found outside five-figure independent watches — Lucky Harvey brings it within reach as a luxury automatic rabbit watch built for collectors of kinetic-dial timepieces.

925 Sterling Silver Rabbit, Rose Gold PVD Finish, Light-Absorbing Black Dial

The rabbit is sculpted in 925 sterling silver as its structural base, hand-finished by a master craftsman, and coated in luxury rose gold PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) for warm rose gold tone with scratch and fade resistance. The dial behind the rabbit is treated with an ultra-dark matte black finish engineered to absorb the vast majority of incident light — a technique that makes the rose gold rabbit, moon, koi, and butterfly stand out in dramatic relief. The case is 316L stainless steel finished to match the rose gold palette. Only the Silver Rabbit variant leaves the sterling silver exposed; on the Rose Gold Rabbit, the silver substrate is covered by the PVD finish.

The Rose Gold Rabbit uses the signature Lucky Harvey dual-dot time display instead of conventional hands. Two white reading dots travel around the inner edge of the dial — the LEFT dot indicates the HOUR (numerals 1–12 on the inner left arc), and the RIGHT dot indicates the MINUTE (markers 0–60, numbered every 5 minutes, on the inner right arc). Example: left dot between 5 and 6, right dot on 30 = 5:30. The hour numerals, the minute markers, and both reading dots are coated with luminous material — against the ultra-dark dial, the night-time luminescence is especially striking.

The Strap You Can Wear All Day

A two-layer Lucky Harvey signature construction: genuine leather on the outside for a luxury finish, fluororubber on the inside — a hypoallergenic, antibacterial polymer that breathes in heat and humidity. The contoured cut wraps the wrist closely; the strap stays in place when you move. 22mm strap width, signature pin buckle closure.
