Three sculptural spherical indicators travel along an orbital track, replacing conventional hour hands with a distinctive three-dimensional display. Inspired by the movement of celestial bodies, their continuous motion transforms the dial into a miniature mechanical universe.

Each spherical indicator features four numerals and rotates to reveal the corresponding hour as it travels along the track. By combining the sphere's position with its visible numeral, the TimeOrb introduces an unconventional yet fascinating approach to reading time.

The design draws inspiration from ancient astronomical instruments and the Chinese philosophy of "Round Heaven and Square Earth." The contrast between the structured case and spherical orbital indicators creates a harmonious composition that connects traditional cosmological ideas with modern mechanical design.

A domed sapphire crystal with multi-layer anti-reflective coating provides a clear view of the three-dimensional mechanism. Swiss Super-LumiNova® illuminates the hour numerals and orbital markers in low-light conditions, while the exhibition case back reveals the movement's oscillating rotor and mechanical components.
