Introduction

Inspired by the ancient Chinese philosophy of a round heaven and a square earth, the Memorigin Stellar Series – Imperial explores the harmony between contrasting forms and worldviews. Blending Eastern cosmology with Western horological design, this timepiece transforms an age-old philosophy into a distinctive mechanical creation.
At the heart of its design is a specially developed, one-piece curved sapphire crystal, engineered to offer an unobstructed view of the intricate movement from multiple angles. Its complex curvature presented an extraordinary manufacturing challenge, requiring extensive development and the use of over a hundred cutting tools before the final form was achieved.
Beneath the crystal, an 18K solid gold square frame brings structure and balance to four distinctive elements: a flying tourbillon at 3 o'clock, a spherical GMT indicator at 6 o'clock, a time display sub-dial at 9 o'clock, and an ancient Chinese armillary sphere-inspired decoration at 12 o'clock.
Look closer, and a hidden artistic detail emerges. A finely engraved dragon appears to soar alongside the rotating tourbillon, while a phoenix motif adorns the dial, bringing two powerful symbols of Chinese culture into a dynamic mechanical composition.
Powered by a specially developed automatic tourbillon movement with a 40-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the Stellar Series – Imperial is more than a showcase of mechanical ingenuity. It is a celebration of cultural heritage, artistic vision, and the enduring pursuit of harmony.

Developed exclusively for the Stellar Series, the specially shaped sapphire crystal offers a panoramic view of the intricate movement from multiple angles. Its challenging curved profile required extensive development and over a hundred cutting tools to achieve.

An 18K solid gold square frame brings the philosophy of a square earth and round heaven to life. It unifies four distinctive dial elements into a harmonious composition, blending traditional Chinese cosmology with contemporary watchmaking design.

Positioned at 3 o'clock, the flying tourbillon reveals a finely engraved dragon that appears to soar with its rotation. Paired with the phoenix motif on the dial, this hidden detail celebrates two iconic symbols of Chinese culture.

Developed specifically for the Stellar Series, the automatic tourbillon movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 40-hour power reserve. Its distinctive flying tourbillon features Memorigin's logo while maintaining the stability of its operation.
