Forged Carbon. Driven by Innovation.

Created through a collaboration between independent watchmaking brand MECEXP and Dubai-born private membership club Group63, this limited-edition timepiece brings the spirit of high-performance automotive engineering to contemporary watchmaking.
At its heart is the in-house MS1001-TT electromechanical hybrid movement, built around MECEXP’s patented linear reciprocating hand mechanism. Instead of following a conventional circular path, the hands travel back and forth along a straight track, driven by a sophisticated system of gears, lead screws and sliding components, with electronic control ensuring precise positioning and reset.
The forged carbon fibre case, titanium construction and motorsport-inspired details reinforce the watch’s bold character. Limited to just 63 pieces worldwide, it embodies a shared passion for precision engineering, mechanical innovation and the pursuit of performance.

Departing from conventional circular hand movement, MECEXP’s patented linear reciprocating mechanism gives the hands an entirely different way of indicating time. A system of gears, lead screws, guide rods and sliders works together to create precise linear motion, transforming the passage of time into a distinctive mechanical display.

The proprietary MS1001-TT movement combines mechanical transmission with digital control technology. Dual independent lead-screw drives move the hands along their linear paths, while a high-precision optical chip continuously detects their positions. Chip algorithms and programmable controls enable responsive operation and contactless homing, eliminating the need for the complex cam structures found in conventional chronograph mechanisms.

The case combines forged carbon fibre composite with forged titanium, creating a bold, angular silhouette with a distinctly motorsport character. The three-dimensional movement architecture takes inspiration from high-performance automotive engines, while red indices stand out against the dark carbon texture. The specially designed strap echoes the form of a vertical-slat air intake grille, with a tyre-tread-inspired inner surface.

Born in Dubai, Group63 is a private membership club for Mercedes-AMG owners, named after the iconic G63. With a presence in 25 countries and over 377,000 members, it unites automotive enthusiasts through exclusive events and motorsport experiences. Driven by a shared passion for precision engineering, performance and innovation, Group63 and MECEXP come together in a collaboration that brings the spirit of high-performance automotive culture to watchmaking.
