At the heart of the collection is an encounter between a mermaid and a polar bear mother and her cub, whose home is threatened by environmental destruction. Mistaking the mermaid for a messenger from the human world, the mother bear offers her a rose, entrusting her with a heartfelt wish: to ask humanity to protect the environment and preserve their last remaining home. The mermaid responds with an embrace, promising to carry their message to the human world. Together, they hold on to the hope of a better future.
Each dial is crafted using high-temperature miniature gold-wire cloisonné enamel, a demanding traditional decorative art that combines delicate gold wirework with richly colored enamel. Within a 42mm composition, intricate golden outlines and vibrant enamel hues create a miniature world of remarkable detail, reflecting the refinement of Eastern imperial craftsmanship.
