Rooted in China's ancient timekeeping tradition, the dial features twelve markers representing the Twelve Shichen, each corresponding to a two-hour period. More than a way of telling time, this system reflects the ancient Chinese understanding of nature, daily life and the rhythm of the universe.

Inspired by the graceful upturned eaves and intricate dougong bracket structures of traditional Chinese architecture, the design translates centuries-old architectural aesthetics into a distinctive watchmaking language, symbolizing craftsmanship, cultural depth and enduring elegance.

The understated white-grey dial evokes the delicate texture of traditional rice paper. Twelve time markers are complemented by auspicious geometric motifs, while cinnabar-red numerals and a matching central seconds hand bring vivid contrast and symbolize celebration, vitality and good fortune.

Created through a collaboration between FARASUTE and Watchina founder Chang Wei, the Huaxia Twelve-Hour Watch celebrates the revival of traditional Chinese timekeeping. Limited to 88 individually numbered pieces, it is a meaningful collectible for those who appreciate cultural heritage and distinctive watchmaking.
