Enamel Technique
The dial is crafted using the cloisonné enamel technique, where metal wires are first used to outline the pattern on the metal base, fixed with natural adhesives, and then soldered onto the metal base. Different colored enamel glazes are then filled into the outlined patterns. Due to the uniqueness of handcraftsmanship and subtle temperature variations, each cloisonné dial is one-of-a-kind.

From 1985 until today, the 7001 is still produced by ETA. You may see this caliber referred to as the ETA 7001, Peseux 7001, or even the ETA Peseux 7001.
