Seagull 68th Anniversary Commemorative Edition
The Designer Series by Seagull" was originally created in 2015 by the brand, and for the 60th anniversary celebration, European designers were hired to tailor-make a commemorative edition. The combination features a three-part case with side lugs inspired by the design of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Celebrating the 68th anniversary of the domestic watch, while the Seagull brand itself marks its 50th anniversary. The "since1955" inscription beneath the logo on the dial reflects its historical significance, while the tail of the second hand is shaped like the Seagull logo.
The new model introduced in 2023 showcases a snowflake-patterned dial, crafted through a complex and delicate manufacturing process. Initially, the snowflake pattern is pressed onto the brass dial floor, followed by electroplating to simulate snowflake colors, and finally coated with a transparent material to prevent oxidation. The result is a dial surface reminiscent of a snowy landscape. The black leather strap, smooth and supple, conforms comfortably to the wrist, and an additional brown strap is provided as a gift.
