Drawing from the ancient Chinese cosmological concept of "Round Heaven and Square Earth," the Orbital II replaces conventional circular hand movement with a distinctive rounded-square track. Its straight sections represent structure and order, while its curved corners embody fluidity and transformation, translating traditional Eastern philosophy into a dynamic mechanical display.

A specially designed retractable hand travels along the orbital track, continuously adjusting its length as it moves. Alternating between extended and contracted forms, it creates a distinctive visual rhythm that transforms the passage of time into an engaging mechanical performance rather than a conventional display.

Built upon the reliable Miyota 9015 automatic movement, the Orbital II features a proprietary cam-and-lever transmission system developed by Mandetbrote. Its differential compensation mechanism regulates the hand's movement through straight and curved sections, enabling controlled acceleration and deceleration along the unconventional track.

The goldstone glass dial evokes a celestial landscape, with its sparkling mineral-like appearance providing a striking contrast to the moving mechanical display. A double-domed sapphire crystal with multi-layer anti-reflective coating enhances depth and clarity, creating a three-dimensional viewing experience.
